INVITATION

You have discovered MycadHELPER website so obviously you are a keen user or learner of AutoCAD so…

Why would I make this offer?

I am a retired Architect who has specialised in CAD drafting for forty-five years, been CAD manager for ten years and taught AutoCAD at university and TAFE level. I began using AutoCAD from Release 1. and ALWAYS used the Commandline with a clean blank screen heavily supported by AutoLISP customisation. I developed MycadKEYS over several years and recently began updating it and re-imaging it to MycadHELPER in order to avoid all that experience going to waste. The task is almost complete and you are invited to try it out and perhaps help in its refinement. If you use it well; as I have for most of my professional career you shouls be able (as I did) to DOUBLE your drafting output and improve the quality and accuracy of your work while you are at it.

To help you decide; think of the following:

One can use AutoCAD in each of or a combination of two ways:

  • Use the graphical menu system.
  • Use the Commandline.

If you use the Commadline – the original and only complete system – one has the oportunity to:

  • Type full command words
  • Use Aliases.

If you use Aliases one can

  • Use AutoCAD’s default aliases.
  • Use MycadHELPER’s structured alias sytem.
  • Use MycadKEYS aliases for generic AutoCAD commands only.

If you chose to try the full MycadHELPER program; Congratulations on your foresight and courage to step away from the conventional, dull and time-consuming standard AutoCAD methodology.
